Our Story
M7 Health was created by people who have lived the realities of clinical work and now build the tools they wish they had.
M7 Health was founded in 2022 with a clear mission. Give health systems a platform designed by nurses that modernizes staffing, scheduling, and the day to day experience of clinical work. Our name comes from the inpatient unit where our founder, Ilana, cared for patients. The spirit of that unit guides everything we do.
Today tens of thousands of users login daily across 29 states, powered by a growing team of nurses, operators, engineers, and designers who believe healthcare deserves better technology.

How has your nursing journey evolved into the work you do at M7?
"One of the things I love about nursing is how versatile it is, and I’ve taken full advantage of that. My journey has taken me from clinical practice to healthcare consulting, business school, and now into entrepreneurship. Nursing has been the common thread through it all, grounding my work in a deep understanding of patient care, frontline realities, and system-level challenges. All of those experiences came together in cofounding M7, where I now get to build tools that support the very workforce that inspired me to enter healthcare in the first place.”
